    Managing Editor's Note

By Chuck Hayes, Managing Editor, AdvintroEdge Magazine

When Wim first suggested we create a magazine, I'll be honest, I thought he was a little crazy.

In an industry obsessed with speed, dashboards, and bite-sized insights, a thoughtfully curated publication felt almost… impractical. Who had the time? Who would read it? And did the world really need another industry magazine?

    Then the work began.

What started as an idea quickly became something far more meaningful: a space to slow down, reflect, and actually say something useful about growth, beyond the usual metrics and marketing noise. As the articles came together, it became clear this wasn't about content for content's sake. It was about perspective.

Growth is the theme of our inaugural issue, but not in the way it's often discussed.

Across wealth management, banking, insurance, and fintech, growth is too often defined by what can be counted: AUM, team size, ARR, or other headline metrics. But numbers alone tell only part of the story. True growth begins in the spaces between these metrics: in how teams collaborate, how technology enables better outcomes for clients, and how strategy translates into action that lasts. Product launches and market expansions matter, but without alignment and intention, they are signals of activity, not evidence of meaningful progress.

    Real growth starts with clarity.

In working with technology firms and financial institutions, we see a consistent pattern: the market isn't short on solutions, capital, or ambition. What's missing is alignment: between strategy and execution, between technology and the client experience, and between short-term momentum and long-term value creation.

The contributors in this issue approach growth from different vantage points, but they share a common belief: sustainable growth is intentional. It's driven by knowing who you serve, how you differentiate, and which technologies truly enable progress rather than add complexity.

AdvintroEdge was created to elevate that kind of thinking. Not trend-chasing. Not vendor noise. Just grounded perspectives from leaders who are building, selling, and scaling in real markets with real constraints.

I want to sincerely thank the firms who took the time to contribute their insights, as well as my teammates who brought their own hard-earned perspectives to these pages. What you're seeing is the result of shared effort, healthy debate, and a collective belief that better conversations lead to better outcomes.

As you close this issue, we hope it leaves you with sharper questions, clearer priorities, and a renewed focus on what growth should actually look like for your organization.

We look forward to continuing the conversation.
